Czech Facts

As is the case with the majority of Slavic languages, words change form a lot, and there are many irregular inflections

The Czech language has its own governing body - the Czech Language Institute

Unlike most European languages, verbs in Czech have only three possible tenses - present, past and future

Czech 1 to 1 Business

Those who would benefit the most from these Czech tutorials are those who feel they need to learn Czech to help them out in their business lives. For starters, learning salutations and business etiquette is integral; once these have been practiced then reading and writing courses can start. Typical studiers have been those involved in international import/export, negotiations and acquisitions, those in multinational companies requiring another language, and those working in any way with international governments and relevant administration. Just our simplest course for beginners will have students finishing the lessons with basic telephone and e-mail Czech, as well as survival Czech should a visit to the country be necessary.

Czech 1 to 1 General

These Czech lessons fit a broader spectrum, and can be useful for those who need different things from the language. Most beginner students will have a handle of survival Czech by the end of their course, which will provide them without enough Czech to communicate at least at a basic level during short trips to the country, but those who require more would benefit greatly from these sessions. Typical students have been those eager to travel all over the world, those buying overseas property, those with foreign spouses, aficionados of Czech culture and those who just wish to pass a particular Czech exam.

Louisville

As Kentucky's largest city, Louisville is famous for hosting the Kentucky Derby - 'the most exciting two minutes in sport'. Named after King Louis XVI of France, around 700,000 people call Louisville home. While the population is primarily composed of white, native English speakers; the city is one of the central educational districts in the area, with several universities and many other post-secondary schools. These resources make it an excellent place to start studying a foreign language, even if it's likely you'll only get to use your skills outside city limits!
